On 10 December 2022, a ceremony was held in the Lepoldin Auditorium to renew the doctorates of Prof. Teresa Oberc-Dziedzic, Prof. Andrzej Grodzicki, Prof. Jan Łoboda and Prof. Michał Sachanbiński. To the sound of a polonaise, the ceremony was opened by a procession comprising members of the Council of the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Environmental Management, the promoters of the doctorates being renewed, the Vice-Deans and the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Henryk Marszałek, together with the Rector of the University of Wrocław, Prof. Robert Olkiewicz. The distinguished Jubilarians and guests waited in the Leopoldinska Hall for the arrival of the procession. After listening to the anthem Gaude Mater Polonia, the Rector welcomed the guests. He was followed by the Dean of the Faculty, who emphasised in his speech that the renewal of a doctorate is the highest honour the University can bestow on a doctor 50 years after his or her defence.
